The majority of young sailors learn in a single-handed boat… this is great because you get plenty of time helming the boat and become very self-reliant. Stage 4 reinforces those skills learnt at Stage 3, but in double-handed boats. This teaches how to work with, or as, a crew and ensures you have the skills required to progress to Advanced Skills course such as Sailing with Spinnakers. Enormous fun.
Courses run over five consecutive days unless otherwise specified.
