Powerboating is a valuable accompanying skill for many sailors and windsurfers, but is also a fun and fast sport in its own right. Getting the balance between safety and exhilaration requires skill, education and lots of practice, which is what we aim to provide our students with by the end of each course at Hawley Lake.
The RYA Powerboat Level 2 course is run over two consecutive days and covers everything needed to get you driving safely, from preparation to man overboard drills.
There will be a variety of craft used, both planing and displacement.
You will be taught in a group size of no more than three students to one instructor.
