The RYA Level 1 course provides a short introduction to dinghy sailing for complete beginners. By the end of the course, participants will be able to sail in all wind directions, have a basic understanding of boat rigging and handling techniques, with some background knowledge.
Courses are taught in a maximum group of six students per instructor. An RYA certificate and logbook will be issued on successful completion of the course.
