Racing is an excellent way to imrove your skills and at HLSTC is enjoyable, friendly and welcoming so please join in!

New Novice Racing: We now have a series dedicated to novices, and only novices!  You can however have an expert (club racing volunteer) in the boat to help you around the course.

Youth Race Training: There is now free race training to Youth Members and a Youth Race Series.  See the Youth Section.

All members wishing to race must have their boat insured 3rd party and for "Racing Risks".

Racing is free and open to all HLSTC sailing members regardless of racing ability level.  There is organised racing with safety cover and a Race Officer, mainly in the form of Series Handicap racing, but with some other formats too.
